i can relate, i know people mean well when they tell me to "slow down" and "just take your time" but really that's just not how it works, this is a rlly big issue in my life that apparently no one without a stutter would ever understand. it helps me to remind myself that we don't have to accommodate for anyone we , we deserve to be loved and heard, and our stutters don't define who we are.
