That's good that you don't avoid speaking anymore. However, there are other things, body language, that still could be sending the signal of "Avoid, avoid". It also could be that people around you are so used to brushing you off that they don't know their doing it. I would suggest taking the person you feel will listen the most, who cares the most and have a sit down with them. Express that you feel unheard, that you feel unlistened to.. and ask them to please make more of an effort to listen to you. That one person might start having an effect on your whole group. It may not be you. It might be them and they might not know until they are asked.
