Is anyone stuttering less under stress? I noticed that sometimes when I'm under some sort of stress, I'm almost stutter free if not completely. It's not always like that though. I also don't mean the nervous stress, but rather stress because of importance, if that makes sense. I mean if I know that it's important and that speaking is important I kind of stop stuttering (though as I said, there are times it's not that way). Well I don't stop stuttering, but I stutter significally less (at least from my point of view). E.g. Once I had to do a presentation. At first I was kind of nervous, since I thought I would stutter. But as I started speaking I didn't stutter. Normally I don't care that much when I stutter since I don't deny it and I think the most know that I stutter, but I learned for that presentation and I wanted to get the grade I deserved, so I was somewhat nervous. So, does someone have similar experiences? PS: I'm not a strong stutterer. There are times though where I'd say that I stutter much.
