>My son gets great grades, has a good group of friends and insists his stutter does not affect him Sounds like he's doing fine on his own.  >I want to make sure he has tools to deal with his stutter when it becomes a bigger issue for him.  Is this something he has concerns about or are these your concerns?  Regardless, there are no "tools" to change your stutter when you want to. It doesn't work like that. Sure, he can talk like a robot and greatly reduce of eliminate his stuttering, but nobody wants that, least of all him.
