I've noticed the same thing when taking piracetam (800mg-1.2g a day) along with a choline source, although the effects are especially pronounced when combined with L-Theanine (150-200mg a day). My theory is that the improvement in communication between hemispheres from the piracetam, along with the reduction in anxiety / general calmness from L-Theanine, helps improve my fluency. It's especially noticeable when I'm tried, which is when I usually struggle the most. Although being tired still doesn't help at all, and sleep is definitely the most important thing for me. Have you tried any other racetams? I have oxiracetam and aniracetam to try, but have yet to test them.
