This is so anti science and stupid but the fact there is actual people in our community that think this way probably explains why stuttering is not taken serious. Everything you are is genetic. Look at walking. There are genes that determines when you will start to walk, how will you walk. Just because you don't walk when you are baby doesn't mean you don't have genes or "wiring" for walking and its a "learned" behavior. There are 0 studies that prove stuttering doesn't have a genetic component. If there are please share. I would love to read it.
