Have you ever been threatened to be kicked out of college because you didn’t want to give a presentation? So I have social anxiety and I also stutter. I emailed my professor and asked if it was possible to do my presentations one on one with her instead of in front of the whole class. Or do a PowerPoint and do a voice over on it. She emailed me back and said stuttering is not a disability and I should be able to present or that is a failing grade and expulsion from the school. A failing grade? For one presentation? It’s not like I’m asking to not do it, I was just asking for an alternative solution.
