No history but my son has stutter. He is now 14. I don’t think I’ve worked as hard on any of my kids as I have on this one. First because he is the eldest and second because I know he has a slight disadvantage. You need to drop everything and focus on your kids to make their lives better. I am an Asian so many of us have a mindset of giving our kids everything we have. We travel together, I have hired some of the best private tutors in the area for his studies (we live in a highly rated district), I advocate (and fight) for my son. I have very defined IEP/504 and keep an hawk eye on anything that seems off. I regularly check with his teachers and his school admin. No one dares to question my son on his stutter or laughs at it. Having said that, my son is very confident too and does not care. Parental support can change a child’s life. You got this!
