It’s a tough road. However, now that my son is getting the proper treatment he’s doing much better. He knows how to get out of his dysfluencies. More importantly, it’s about giving him a sense of control and working on acceptance. Schools use our ignorance against us. We have 1/3 of the power, along with the teacher and the sped dept. If you change your mind, reach out to me and I can walk you through the process.
