Should we make our listeners comfortable?

Should we make our listeners comfortable? I found this little blurb in my Notes section on my phone - from two years ago. I obviously found this significant as I saved it. I’ve reread it now like 10 times. I so totally believe this now more than ever in my life. I’m going to blog a little more about this but wondered about others thoughts. Do we have some obligation to make listening to us easier for the “fluent world?” “For years we have gone to speech therapy to change the way we speak to make it more comfortable for others. We shouldn't have to do that anymore.
