Don’t attribute it to malice if there’s any other explanation. Potentially she thinks it is supportive and helpful. Explain to her so she understands and see if she changes her behaviour. My wife and I have a kind of code where if I am really struggling and just want it said I will look at her and she will step in, I rarely use it but good to know we are on the same page.
