I remember when I was like 6 or 7 when training karate, my best friend and his older sister started telling me how they mocked me that day when talking to each other on the way back from school and how absolutely hilarious it was. Shit really broke me because I was so helpless. This would really hurt me even now so imagine how it felt to a 6yo. Not long after that I quit karate because of my stutter too. I was really good at it and everyone praised me but I just couldn't handle speaking there. One of couple times stuttering had beaten me.
