There is nothing wrong with you. You just need to take the power back from others over you. One very effective way to do this is to stutter voluntarily. When you start conversation with someone, maintain eye contact, stutter voluntarily on certain words, breathe normally and take pauses as you speak to breather normally if you have to, and continue as if nothing happened. Start with situations that you find easy, then gradually move on to more and more difficult situations. If you stutter confidently, nobody will care about your stutter. If you react to your stutter with embarrassment, other will also react to your embarrassment (not to your stutter, most people give a shit if you stutter)
