In the movies Superstar and Romy and Michelle's Highschool Reunion, there are minor male roles who stutter. It's the reason why they are a bit quite and mysterious. There's this show on HBO called Divorce that I watched a few episodes of. In one episode, one of the main characters which is played by Molly Shannon, is rushed walking down an aisle of a grocery store and she is asking for something and she asks a young man employee. He starts stuttering and she just goes like "I don't have time for this" and keeps walking. And she's says to her son "I feel bad for him but we are in a hurry". My boyfriend looked at me after that scene to see my reaction. And I though it was a good depiction of real life, although it was kind of a bummer. I think the point of the scene was to show that this character is a real bitch. I found the clip!
