I'm 29 and still have hangups over my speech... but man, it gets easier. If you can, see a speech therapist. Talk to your friends about your stutter, talk to people at work about it if it's bothering you. Confront it, and be ok with it. As you become ok with it, you aren't so anxious and you'll notice your speech will improve. Practice reading out loud, hang out with a buddy and tell him that you're going to practice your techniques over a few beers. Call your mom and practice. You'll notice huge improvements. The walls will begin to crumble, and you'll feel more comfortable being a stutterer. If you're having a bad day – go for a jog, go to the gym, take a long shower, and try meditating. This all helps clear my mind, and helps me reflect and put everything in perspective. Stop pretending to be someone who doesn't stutter, embrace it, see it as something that's unique to you. Be ok with you. People will respect that & girls will find it endearing. You got this, man. Don't let a stutter control your life.
