Will you be personally interacting with patients? I ask because I work in a hospital and have never personally seen pharmacy staff interact with any patients. It’s always the nurses who communicate to patients and then to pharmacy. Plus, pharmacists can look at patient charts for medication history. I will say though, what worked for me is just being confident (easier said than done). And generally just accept that it’ll happen regardless if you’re wanting it to happen or not.
