STEM programs usually have nice people in a way I think they tend to be less judgmental of our speech, at least that' was my experience. I did econ + comp sci. Same goes for my former workplace, I worked as a software engineer where I would rarely talk to many people and perhaps only have 2-3 meetings/week with 10 people at max, that's the most intimidating moment I had ever done there. The dateline of the project burdened me more than the fact I needed to present the project in front of my colleagues and managers.
