life long stutterer here and I know exactly what you mean and how you feel about saying your own name. I got so bad at one point that if i was ordering something and no one knew who I was I would use a fake name that was easier to say. Over time I realized that that the anxiety of getting prepared to answer the question was worse than the actual act of speaking. I started saying uhhh "name" to get myself over the initial "hump" of getting the words out but then i got weird looks like i forgot who i was. Eventually I turn umm into "I'm" which has been a life saver for me ever since. Try it out! **TLDR:** Try saying "I'm" before your name when you get stuck or stutter in nervous situations. Good luck with everything and feel free to pm me to talk or whatever.
