Not to discredit your answer, but not all stutters can be fixed by doing this. If you have a stutter like mine you an practice a word till you're lie in the face and it won't make an ounce of difference. If OP does have the same problem I do (which I think is referred to as a "block stutter"), what I do it changing the way I say the sentence. Rather than just saying " xxxx" try "Hey how's it going yyyy, I'm xxxx" I find thy once a sentence stars flowing, I can sometimes say words I normally wouldn't be able to. This might not work for you by hey, fits with a shot right?
