It has made me more understanding of people that do stutter as well but also just more understanding of people that have any minor or major disabilities. Specifically for myself i think it made me more intelligent because when i found a word that was difficult to say in conversation and such i would immediately look up a synonym for the word, so in a way because of stuttering my vocabulary has expanded a vast amount. Thankfully its helped me a lot in the teaching profession and now that im speaking everyday my stutter only comes out a few times rather than a lot like it used to.
