> I've always had a very minute stutter Right here. Most don't realize that everyone has some degree of disfluency - 99% of the time it's unnoticeable. Anxiety and being tired are two of my big triggers. You mentioned that you're 19. In my experience life didn't get any easier or simpler when I became an adult - really the opposite. It's great that you're active and get exercise - you may want to consider learning some relaxation exercises, meditation and/or consider some speech therapy exercises (resources around the web). Their are a lot of variable degrees of stuttering. I stuttered pretty severely when I was a child - through speech therapy, practice, working on managing anxiety I have pretty good fluency. But using the phone is still hard every time - some stutters don't have any problem with phone calls. Stuttering seems to be unique for everyone.
