That's absolutely awful, and I'm so sorry. I'm not sure how it works in the UK, but in the US where I live you can contact the disability office and get accommodations as long as you can prove you genuinely have it. I'm currently exempt from all oral presentations and class readings. I'd talk with your advisor or see if you can get in contact with your college's disability office.
