I am a speech pathologist, and I encourage you to go see one, this time look for what experience/ approach the slp has with fluency. I find that fluency is an area many slp's are not comfortable or competent in to provide therapy, and that is ok.. as long as they refer you to one who is! There are also some great support groups for people who stutter (some are online) that I encourage you to look into. I'm not sure if you are in Canada or the USA (or elsewhere) message me if you would like and might be able to provide you with some links to resources.
