If you are really struggling talking to someone, pause and say sorry. You really don’t need to apologise but hopefully they will say “don’t worry”, “no problem” or “take your time”. They will have recognised your difficulty and you will instantly relax. If you are stuck on a sound, attempt to say it and even if you don’t say it how you like move forwards.
