Oral presentations Hello everyone, I want to tell my story and what happened twice already. So for some years now, I have a mild-stuttering (I have it since being a child, sometimes severe stutter), I usually struggle with oral presentations in class, I get really nervous in fear of stuttering and messing up. Today I had my presentation of my final project, it's the most important one as you put in practice what you learned for two years (graphic design), so we have up to 15 mins to talk. The thing is that, I didn't stutter! It went smoothly and perfect and all the teachers were in awe of my "talking skills" hahaha. I want to say this because it's actually the second time it happens. The first time and to my disbelief it also happened the moment I had to present my research project in highschool, also really important at that age. The key to this is that I afronted that oral presentation with the mindset of "I'm in control of this. I have worked on this project for months so I'm the only one who knows best what I did. The audience doesn't know nothing so it's my role to explain it clearly and easy to them. I know exactly how to explain every question they may ask about my project so I'm ready" This is a mindset maybe not applicable to daily life but sure for oral things like this! We have to work our confidence and really believe in ourselves and our work \^\^ I only wanted to post this as it might helps other students like me.
