Would you bring up stuttering when meeting a kid who stutters?

Would you bring up stuttering when meeting a kid who stutters? Hey all, I work in a job where I often talk to and interview kids in school. I talked to one kid today and during our interview I realized he stuttered. Part of me wanted to mention our camaraderie on that front, but I also remember being a kid and I never wanted people to call attention to my stutter, so I didn't bring it up. What do you think? Would you prefer a fellow stutterer bring it up or just go on as normal?
