I DID NOT start HRT to cure my stuttering. It was for other reasons. The improvement in my speech was just one of the beneficial side effects of HRT. I gained some other physical and mental benefits as a result of hormone replacement: 1) being more relaxed and calm 2) thinking more clearly and analytically as opposed to deciding based on my emotions 3) stopping male baldness pattern and experiencing hair regrowth 4) having absolutely no body odor and oily skin 5) very soft and fair skin complexion 6) no more acne 7) becoming more handsome because of the overall feminine delicacies that estrogen brings about 8) not having to worry about attracting the opposite sex because I have no sexual desire anymore. Believe me, it was a huge load off my mind. I do not encourage other stutters to follow the this route because 99.99% of the people cannot tolerate its sexual side effects.
