We can recognize it’s inconvenient for others, but that’s really all it is, just a bit inconvenient. People who give you the time of day are not saints. I assume you sometimes have to be patient with others. You probably have to hide a cringe sometimes. I’m sure the friends you put so high on a pedestal have their own ‘inconveniences’ you tolerate. That’s people, that’s life. Not everyone will put up with stuttering, but I think a lot of people would and do.
