I was handling a complaint from a customer once as the manager. They complained to corporate and I almost lost my job as a GM. I told them, fire me and you'll hear from a lawyer for wrongful termination. A bit of back and forth but they left me alone afterwards. I know it's not the same thing but I can definitely relate. I hate how your stutter makes you look like you aren't competent at your job. I didn't help my case be ause I told the customer I had a neurological condition that can affect my speech but thanks for noticing. Wrong move with her, I use that so people will leave me alone or not joke about it
