I have a severe stutter as well, from the sounds of things its basically at the same end of the scale as yours, and the biggest thing for me has been to really and truly realize that I am not a "broken" person, and that my stutter does not take away from my self worth. My stutter is a speech impediment, no more and no less. That's taken me sooo long to get to and it's still sort of a daily thing, but as I've gotten older (I'm mid 20's) it's gotten slightly easier. Aside from that, surround yourself with people who don't care that you stutter. They exist. Actually, people like that likely make up the majority of the people you'll encounter, even though I'm sure it doesn't feel like it. I'm really glad you posted in here. It makes it easier hearing from other people who understand.
