I've found that the vast majority of people I talk with are very patient and understanding. If I'm entering a situation where I think I might have blocks, I try and tell the person beforehand and they are usually very kind about it. As far as a partner, I've never had an issue. They will be patient if they care about you and they will want to help if they can.
