I have the same issue, a student at a university dining hall with a stutter trying to get fruit or basically anything. At this point if I do stutter as bad as I do, I always tell the worker that I stutter and they seems to wait for me. After a while the same lady who works the fruit section knows me and expects it. But I completely understand
