In highschool my teachers were very accommodating, they would not ask me to read aloud, and for presentations (not all of them, but most of them) I was allowed to present to them privately outside of class. Same for my first 2 years of college, actually, we had a presentation to do, I did it privately. I've grown out of that though, last semester we had to do 5 presentations, it didn't bother me to do them.
