In the public sector, state and federal, jobs especially hire individuals with all types of disabilities. I’ve seen employees restricted to bed-like devices, blind employees, even totally non-verbal employees at conferences. The ones whom I met were in California at financial conferences. If you live in California you’re in. I don’t know about other states but federal employees with disabilities are hired. This new administration might make it more difficult.
