You can always put your child in technical speech therapy—I haven’t found one that seems to truly work outside of HCRI (has closed its doors). If I had to go back and tell my parents how to handle what I went through, I’d say to empower me more. Confidence is a big thing. Your kid might be a lifelong stutterer, but you can instill confidence and do what you can to make sure they don’t let it control their life. It isn’t a death sentence to stutter, just make sure the little one knows that even if it might seem like it is. My DM’s are open any time!!
