Add some humor and through provoking pictures to your slides. That way you can cut the tension with some laughs and also push some questions on to the audience. So it’s a conversation and not just reading off some slides. Also time your slides. Very important. Use the words on the slide as your guide but don’t read it verbatim. Build your own “thoughts” around those sentences which will make it your own. When it comes to presentations I also like when folks talk as if they are educating you and not just doing a word vomit.
