I believe stuttering is 100% curable Call me delusional, but I believe it's possible to cure stuttering. No, I didn't cure my stuttering, yet, but I'm 24 and I've improved several aspects of my life with good habits, and I believe this is totally applicable to my speech. I can talk to myself fluently without a single stutter, and this is the only proof I need. If I can talk to myself without stuttering, I can apply this fluent speech pattern in social situations too. It's just a matter of keep trying to identify what can help me to achieve this and what cannot. The thing with stuttering is that it's heavily influenced by emotions and our mental state, so in order to speak fluently, we need to get our minds in the right place. Meditation, working out, therapy, we must do everything in our reach to stabilize and keep our minds healthy, so we can speak better. Facial muscle tension is another factor I've been paying close attention. When I'm alone, all my facial muscles are relaxed, but in social moments, they are very tense, and I believe this is linked with my social anxiety, so relaxation techniques could potentially help me to reduce the physical and mental strain. It's not an easy path, being diligent with good habits is something very hard, and unfortunately it's not for everyone, but I cannot accept a life with stuttering, I just can't. Our brains and bodies are so plastic and mutable, for me it's crystal clear that we can live a life without this burden, we just need to keep trying.
