The same happened to me when I was put under for something related to my acid reflux, long story short when I woke up I didn’t stutter at all and was quite talkative, it wasn’t until like 10-15 when I was out of the hospital was when it came back out of nowhere. I think there will be a clear diagnosis on what causes it and then they’ll be able to do something about it, still there’s already plenty of great treatments that do help people with fluency as we speak, but the problem is mostly the cost
