IANAL, but have had fairly extensive HR training, and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) does recognize speech impediments as a disability. I don't think it has the severity of some disabilities, but it certainly can prevent one from being able to fully function in society. I just wanna be able to order at a goddamn drive through window like everyone else.
