It won't. I did 6 years in the Navy as an enlisted nuclear mechanic. I was disqualified at MEPS for my stutter but had it appealed and all I had to do was provide a recording of me saying the sailors creed with no issues. My recruiters were willing to stay all day until I got it right. The military can be brutal about things like stutters. Learn to laugh at yourself and OWN IT. Don't try and hide it, it will only make it worse. Once people realize they can't make you feel bad about it, they will forget about it. People are willing to help you and understand that it can make some things more difficult. Don't let your stutter hold you back from what you want to achieve in life. For what its worth, my nickname while serving was R-R-Remix.
