First I want to say that I get you. I’ve also felt this all my life. I’m 24 now, and I have just started what I think the most tranformatory journey of my life. I am just now, at age 24, starting to make real friends. Friends that see my for who I am, and that I am able to be myself around and to whom I’m express myself the way I want. So just hang in there, because it will come a time where it will be alright with you. You just have to realize that nobody actually cares about your stutter. Stuttering is not a problem. If you are anything like me, then YOU are the one holding you back. You are probably much more shamed of your stutter than others are talking to you while you stutter, if that makes sense.
