Yep, I always hated that part of school, too. What helped me was just planning what I was going to say *exactly*, and then speaking it as quick as I could. Keep things tight, and don't pause, because that'll just open you up for a block. And if you do stutter, don't worry. It may sound crazy, but they'll be more willing to accept it about you than you think. Even the snickering asshole jocks.
