Being a parent puts you in a comfort zone with your children, more so then anyone. My kids are grown up and supporting themselves for several years. One daughter never talks about it and looks up to me about any advice she needs. My other Daughter will always pickup on any stutter I still have, a joke about it with me. She gets a pass and I laugh with her. Neither girl stutters and they are very healthy and in their 30's now.
