Stammer help??

Stammer help?? My son is 17 and stammers (possible stutter) quite alot. Are there any programs or exercises I can do with him at home? It is affecting his self esteem and I think he just missed out on a job opportunity because of it. I can't afford a private speech therapist and there's nothing available through his school.
