I stutter and passed it down to my daughter. However, I cannot imagine not have my kids. It was a joy to watch them grow, learn, and live. She will struggle in life just like I did. However, I learned a lot through my struggles stuttering and hopefully using my experience to teach will help her get through her stuttering disability. She is only 11 and has a whole lifetime ahead of her. I was alone in with my stuttering, she will not be alone, I will guide her. I also have a son who didn't inherit stuttering from me.
