you would have not posted if everything when alright when you read the book? the way you react might determine how you feel about it overall. seeking relief by reading a book to people that to be honest problaby dont care about it might affect you in a bad way rather than on a good way. people are like that these days sadly, they only care about themselfs so you have to understand that your stutter wont go away by trying to be normal with others, if that is what you were trying. usually stutters are nice people, because they know how it feels to feel down constantly, so they dont want that to happen to others. if you have read the book in a normal matter, your friends would not have felt anything at all problaby, because is normal for them to read a book. You have to understand that they will never understand what it feels to not be able to say a word, so be reasonable with them. Try to improve not only your speech, but also your personality, the way you live, what food you eat and your physical apperance, dont let stuttering make it worse than it has to be. i work on constructions and the bosses that i have speak little english, and the contractors are mostly americans. but my bosses have always had tons of work all year long, without them speaking barely any words, you know why? because the bosses know that they are hard working people and will complete the task.. you dont have to be a super speaker to land a job, let your work speak for itself. I seen people here posting about bad job interviews. now i understand how hard it would be (i am currently a computer science major) so someday i would have to face an job interview. but i am not sure if the ones that post job interview here are actually hard workers. Are they those type of people that want to work less and get paid more? easy jobs that wont get you the experience of what is actually trying to complete a job as fast as possible so that profit can be made? those kind of people that hate that their coworkers or bosses are richer than themselves? why work hard?, my boss is already rich... your personality will speak for yourself as well. when you read, dont let your stutter define you,, it really means dont let it define you. Moses was a stutter!, did he have doubts when God called him? yes! it is written and he even told God that he is slow on speaking, that he is not fit for the task... but God kept insisting and never gave up on him. why do you think God saw Moses's rejections as reasons to support him and insist and insist for moses to do the task instead of calling him a non-believer? God knows moses had reasons to feel that way,, and i know you might feel that way sometimes,, but if you are a good person and improve your personality constantly, you will have the normal life that you might sometimes seem as something that will never happen
