I didn't really talk about it until after college. Even with my sibling who stutters, just kind of tried to ignore it. Mostly because it's a bit awkward. Even then I don't go into how it's affected me. My dad kinda seems to take it personally that I stutter. The last time I brought it up he just got quiet. My mom thinks "talk slow" is a fix, but I don't blame her considering where she grew up.
