honestly im not really sure myself. like 3 years ago i just started having hope that it most certainly will get better. i have been to a speech pathologicst but she didnt really help. i also have many strategies to prevent stuttering because i can sense when it will happen mid conversation. 1. rearranging your sentence. 2. replacing words with synonyms. 3. not thinking about what words exactly i want to say but generally the idea that i want to convey. 4. doing intentional pauses. 5. starting a word or sentence with "ummm" or "aaa" or "eeee". 6. when stuttering does happen i allow it to exist for a brief moment then move on. 7. if it gets really bad i just apologize for it or make joke about it (for some reason that makes it better)
