Oh my gosh, where the heck do you work?! This is ridiculous! The person who suggested to your manager that you’re drunk is an absolute idiot. Any person with half a brain would realize that you have a stutter. If it makes you feel any better, i have a job that requires a lot of communication and my stutter has never adversely impacted my job… people seem to not care or understand. It sounds like you might work with people who don’t have the highest intellect… can i ask how your manager handled this?
