Great! Reading aloud helps me to this day. If I'm trying to calm myself down about it, or if I try to go the entire day without doing it, I'll read whatever I can see. Air freshener on the toilet? Sure. Shampoo bottle? You betcha. Ingredient list? Yaass It's weird for me, I stutter more around the people I know and love rather than strangers. I think subconsciously I know that they don't know I have an impediment. So I can speak clearly and they won't think anything of it. And when strangers become friends and I stutter a bit, I voice that I have a stutter. And the response every. Single. Time. Is that they never noticed. And since I bring it up, they notice. Weird huh?
